I am trying to break into the translation market, and on my profile I have indicated that I specialize in the fields of culture, politics, and advertising. Should I be more open to fields that may be in greater demand, such as legal and medical? I am looking to start building some sort of client base, and I really like TM-Town's business model. Any insight as to how to attract clientele? Thanks so much!

A field you specialize in, should be a field you specialize in. Not a field that is in high demand. Many translators go for in-demand fields. Be special and stand out.
