Krása je abstraktní pojem, s nímž se setkáváme v mnoha oblastech lidského bytí.	Beauty is an abstract term, with which we encounter in many areas of human life.
Významem tohoto pojmu se zabývá především filosofická disciplína zvaná estetika (původně od řeckého aisthésis, smyslové vnímání).	Esthetics, the philosophical descipline, deals with the description of the meaning if this term. (Originally from Greek - aisthesis - perception of the meaning)
Krása je však pouze jednou z tzv.	Beauty is just one of so-called
estetických kategorií (ošklivost, vznešenost aj.) a v rámci estetiky postupně ztrácí dominantní místo.	esthetic categories (uglyness, etc) and in terms of esthetics gradually is loosing it's dominant place
Krása je buď považována za kvalitu přítomnou v nějakém jsoucnu (člověku, krajině, písni, myšlence, nauce), která v nás budí libost (podle Immanuela Kanta tzv. nezainteresované zalíbení, vztah, který vylučuje jakýkoli praktický zájem na věci), nebo je krása věcí vnímatelova přístupu k věci; zde se ukazuje, jak je krása závislá na konvencích.	Beauty is either considerred as a quality present in somebody/something (person, landscape, song, thought, science), which wakes the feeling of pleasure in us (according to Immanuele Kant the so-called not-interested admiration, relation that exludes any practical interest to things), or the beauty of the thing is being related to the perceiver; this states that beauty depends on conventions.
Krásu jako jsoucí imanentně ve věci chápe tzv.	Beauty as immanence in things is understood by so-called
esencialismus, krásu jako věc vnímatelova postoje konvencionalismus.	essentionalism, beauty as a matter of the recipient states the conventionalism.
