I’m currently working as a translator on a human rights–focused project. It involves translating reports and statements about two Palestine Action activists who are being held on remand in UK prisons and are facing life-threatening conditions after prolonged hunger strikes. The work includes material from medical experts, family members, UN specialists, and campaigners, and it highlights concerns about their health and the UK government’s refusal to intervene, citing judicial independence.
