Can I upload glossaries, for example a Excel list Engels - Dutch (spread out over 2 colums)? If yes, how do I do that? (alignment or what?) |
Yes, you can upload Excel glossaries. This blog post goes over the format: https://www.tm-town.com/blog/additional-terminology-upload-formats-now-available |

Hi Kevin, Thank you for the info. I will have a look shortly. |
Hi Kevin, I uploaded a Excel file DE-NL (test file, only 10 words), but Nakodo recognizes Dutch as Norwegian, so something wrong here. Could you please or look into it, or explain it before I start converting my glossaries? |
Tried to change the file name from ....DE into ....DE-NL, but Nakodo still indicates Norwegian instead of Dutch. |
You can specify the two letter ISO 639-1 language code in the first row of Excel spreadsheet (if you don't the system will try to automatically detect the language which is what happened in your case). In cell A1 put the source language (de) and in cell B1 put the target language (nl). Then your source terms will start from A2 and your target terms will start from B2. |
Hi Kevin, Thanks, it worked. Just one more question. These glossaries are accessable in Nakodo for potential clients, just as TM's? |
The glossaries are not accessible (the clients can not view or download them), but they do help you get matched in Nakodo just as your TMs would. So yes, they do function just like a TM in that they can help you to get matched with clients through Nakodo. |

Thank you. |

How can i upload them? |
