Por trás de tais comunicados estão geralmente assessores de imprensa ou empresas de relações públicas.	Press releases are generally produced by media consultants or public relations companies.
Essa forma de comunicação surgiu em meados da década de 1950 e tornou-se veículo de comunicação indispensável de empresas do mundo todo.	This method of communication began to be used in the mid-1950s and has become essential for companies around the world.
Tal boletim informativo é muito usado por organizações, empresas e pessoas da vida pública para a divulgação de produtos, serviços, acontecimentos, etc., muitas vezes também via agências de relações públicas.	Press releases are widely used by organisations, companies and public figures to spread news of products, services and events etc. They are often sent via public relations companies.
